Following the success of its low-cost Cardboard VR viewer, Google revealed a comfy-looking new option, the Daydream View VR headset, at its hardware launch event earlier this month. The $79 headgear, which works with your phone and bundles a handheld controller for more immersive VR experiences, is now available to pre-order for folks in the US, UK and Germany. It’s set to ship in November. It’s draped in a breathable fabric and is available in three colors. Google recommends using it with a Daydream-ready phone like its own Pixel handsets. Survey shows millennials fall for cyber scams more often than seniors

Millennials aren’t as savvy online as they might lead on. A new survey found that half of all tech support scam victims were 18- to 34-year-olds. For comparison sake, the next age group (36 to 54) made up just over a third (34 percent), and the old-timers (over 55) were only 17 percent as likely to be conned. The recent Ipsos poll took place in 12 countries and surveyed 1,000 people on behalf of Microsoft. Two out of three had experienced a tech support scam over the last year. Last night, Tesla announced some exciting hardware upgrades for the Model X and Model S that feature fully autonomous driving, at some point anyway. The announcement came just before a video detailing a Tesla ‘navigating a complex urban environment’ — which saw the car get on a drive itself through a suburban neighborhood, get on the freeway and then drop off the driver and park itself. This is very much a good news/bad news scenario. First, the good: there’s a one-handed keyboard hidden inside the code of each iPhone. The keyboard improves reachability for those with small hands, or users with the larger iPhone ‘Plus’ by reducing the button width and adding makes each of them easier to reach. Get ready for a lot more 360 videos in Facebook articles. After introducing Instant Articles in May 2015 and 360 content in September of the same year, Facebook is bringing the two together. Starting today, any publisher can implement 360 content in their Instant Articles. They work pretty much the same as on your News Feed: wave your phone around or tap and drag to explore.
